For nearly a century, the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids have graced the gardens and streets of Mobile, dressed in iconic pastel dresses that flutter like the azaleas that bloom in our historic city. Each year, fifty young ladies in their senior year of high school are chosen to carry forward this treasured tradition, serving as goodwill ambassador for Mobile, Alabama.
Emma Davis, daughter of Aimee Lee, Jonathan Lee, Noah Davis, and Jessica Davis, is a blue Azalea Trail Maid from Baker High School. She is a highly engaged student with a strong academic record and a passion for leadership and service. She serves as captain of both the Scholar’s Bowl and Hi-Q Varsity teams, where she leads her peers in academic competition. She is a delegate for the DIMUN program and a founding member of Baker’s book club, reflecting her commitment to global awareness and a love for literature. She contributes to student life as a member of Buzz Magazine and Key Club, and she also volunteers regularly in the children’s nursery at 3Circle Church. She is part of the AP Capstone Diploma program and has been recognized as an AP Scholar. With a score of 32, she is a member of Baker’s 30+ ACT club and has consistently earned A/B Honor Roll status. She plans to attend Auburn University to double major in International Studies and Political Science, with future plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a diplomat.
